Blatant obesisty is much less common here admittedly. Tons of people eat out by themselves daily without giving a crap what other people think or feel sad about it. Japanese out out a lot. It's a lot more about figuring out what to avoid than what to focus on. Maybe because I know what it feels like to eat alone in a place filled with people eating together. It is NORMAL to eat a lot coming out of restriction. When I would eat at my grandma's she make like 9 dishes for 5 people, but we only eat a third of it, and eat left overs for 2 more meals. lunch I throw together maybe some rice and sausage with some vegetables in my rice cooker.
